Key responsibilities & impact

Converts business requirements into program specifications
Analyzes impact of proposed solutions on business applications
Implements team's best practices in documentation and software development
Participates in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering and design to implementation and deployment
Develops, tests, and maintains high-quality software applications
Designs and manages databases and database objects, writes complex SQL queries, and optimizes SQL Server performance
Supports web applications in Microsoft VB.NET and C# and Microsoft Access applications
Collaborates with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure successful project delivery
Troubleshoots and resolves software defects and issues
Maintains code quality, organization, and automatization

Requirements

What you’ll need

5-7 years of full-cycle software development experience
Proven experience in developing applications using Python and Jython
3-5 years of experience with SQL Server, including writing complex queries and performance tuning
Strong experience in web development using Microsoft VB.NET and C#
Strong understanding of software development principles and methodologies
Proficient in object-oriented programming and design patterns
Experience with version control systems (e.g., Azure DevOps)
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS)
Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
