About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

assist the HII Director, Faculty and Staff with financial and general administration of the Health Informatics Institute (HII)
analyze financial and accounting data to inform on the financial and budget status
monitor and analyze budget and accounting data for compliance
prepare UBIT files for Auxiliary units
provide financial information through budget projections for planning

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration or other field directly related to the position's specific responsibilities
4-6 years of fiscal related work experience; or a Bachelor's degree in no specific required field and four years of fiscal related work experience; or six years fiscal related work experience
Competency in Microsoft Office products, especially Excel spreadsheets
Knowledge of accounting, consolidated financial reporting, reconciliation of multiple accounts, accounts payable, accounts receivable and journal entries
Prefer experience with USF financial systems
