About the role

  • Develops new business opportunities by analyzing and proactively targeting high-potential departments within high growth mid-market companies
  • Articulates and demonstrates UserTesting’s unique business and technical value
  • Executes end-to-end sales activities, including lead follow up, opportunity qualification, sales process, subscriber acquisition, and retention
  • Proactively develops unsolicited proposals that justify the expanded use of UserTesting throughout the enterprise
  • Effectively forecasts sales opportunities, while tracking and using critical metrics that predict sales success
  • Tracks all relevant sales activity using the company's CRM platform (SFDC)
  • Builds a plan to optimize the resources and growth in identified territory
  • Directs and communicates feedback for the company and supports future solution development
  • Prioritizes opportunities and manages time & resources appropriately

Requirements

  • Extensive experience selling within an Enterprise SaaS environment, ideally working on six-figure deals
  • A proven track record of exceeding quota and delivering commercial impact across new and existing business
  • A structured approach to sales—you’re comfortable working with frameworks like MEDDPICC
  • A natural multitasker who thrives managing full-cycle sales from prospecting to expansion
  • Ability to engage and influence a range of personas, including C-level executives
  • Comfort navigating complex organizations and leading multi-threaded sales opportunities
  • Creative problem-solver with strong organizational skills and sharp attention to detail
  • Ability to close business within defined fiscal periods, balancing urgency with thoughtfulness
  • Familiarity with tools such as Salesforce, Clari, Outreach, 6Sense, Google Suite, and ZoomInfo/Cognism
  • Willingness to travel to customer sites and collaborate with colleagues at local UserTesting offices
  • Ideal candidate will be located in Edinburgh and able to commit to 2 days a week in the office
