About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Accountable to the unit Manager and/or the Director of the department
- Responsible for planning, directing, implementing, and evaluating each patient’s care
- Direct care provided by the LVN, CNA, nursing student, and/or logistics technician
- Understanding and participating in the organization-wide Performance Improvement Program
- Demonstrates the IRAISE values in all professional and patient care interactions
- Performs other duties as assigned by Manager / Director / Clinical Lead RN
Requirements
What you’ll need- Associate degree in nursing required
- Current RN licensure in the State of California required
- ACLS certification required when appropriate
- BLS certification required
- Basic computer skills required
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in nursing
- Preferred: A registered nurse with current RN experience in the specific service or department
- Preferred: One-year acute care experience
