About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Responsible for the coordination of EMG, ELT, CEO, and BoD driven requirements.
- Supports the development of materials for the Board of Directors by working with key stakeholders including CEO Office, Executive Leadership Team, and/or Function or Line of Business Chief of Staff Team.
- Establishes protocols for communicating development, operations and organizational development work that enhances flow of information across all levels of the organization.
- Builds strong relationships with the Function or Line of Business Leadership, Chief of Staff to the CEO, Executive Leadership Team and various stakeholders to enhance execution and delivery on a variety of business priorities.
- Provides advice and guidance and negotiates approval of deliverable materials with executive management and subject-matter experts prior to securing final approval from senior executive or ELT member.
- Ensures communications meet established standards of appearance and content and that all logistical requirements are satisfied.
- Builds and oversees a team of employees for assigned functional area through ongoing execution of recruiting, development, retention, coaching and support, performance management, and managerial activities.
- Ensures risks associated with business activities are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled in accordance with risk and compliance policies and procedures.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree; OR 4 years of relevant education and/or experience.
- 8 years of project/program management experience supporting senior level executives, corporate event planning and/or managing executive level communications.
- 3 years of direct team lead or management experience.
- Demonstrated ability to influence, interact and collaborate positively with executive leadership (C-Suite) and communicate complex concepts clearly.
- Ability to balance varying responsibilities that span rhythm of business, communications, executive management, and culture and leads teams to through ambiguity.
- Demonstrated capability to influence and navigate in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks with competing deadlines, and demonstrate forward-thinking and planning.
- Experience ensuring processes are in adherence to corporate governance requirements.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite to include: Word, Excel and PowerPoint to create executive level presentations and develop process documentation.
