About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Manages relationships between existing suppliers and internal business team members.
Monitors supplier account partner satisfaction, understands, and applies data-driven insights to influence the achievement of business goals.
Assists Senior or Lead with timely and appropriate resolution of escalations from supplier relationships.
Partners with team to work with research, analytics, finance, and staff area leaders to identify, and implement cross departmental improvement efforts.
Validates and codes simple and/or small invoices requiring minimal research, to ensure accuracy and budget adherence in accordance with the contract and business objectives.
Identifies opportunities to document and facilitate improvements to processes.
Participates in periodic meetings with senior team members and partners to foster relationships and uncover opportunities to develop operational efficiencies of products.
Ensures risks associated with business activities are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled in accordance with risk and compliance policies and procedures.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree; OR 4 years of related experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.
4 years of experience in supplier relationship management, including supplier governance, procurement, and/or supply chain management experience.
Knowledge and experience with applicable industry and products for the assigned functional area.
Data analysis skills.
Relationship management skills and demonstrated ability to influence decisions at leadership levels.
Strong issue resolution and follow-up skills.
Demonstrated experience communicating verbally and written with Senior leaders and strong interpersonal skills.
Proficient knowledge of project management and prioritization skills.
Proficient level of business acumen in the areas of business operations, industry practices, regulatory requirements, and emerging trends required.
