Key responsibilities & impact

Responsible for valuing routine new securities and completing securities transactions data entry
Seeks guidance for more complex security setups
Corrects security master data when errors are reported
Diagnoses and investigates system and data problems and determines root cause of errors
Works with peers to resolve
Corrects trade data problems and/or notifies Compliance, traders, and portfolio managers of any compliance violations
Acquires and applies maturing knowledge of the investment business, products, and processes to better assist senior peers with ad hoc tasks
Participates in the development and implementation of team initiatives as a team resource
Resolves issues and identifies appropriate issues for escalation
Performs more remedial tasks such as doing simple quality checks or staging work for analysis
Ensures risks associated with business activities are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled in accordance with risk and compliance policies and procedures

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree; OR 4 years of related experience may be substituted in lieu of degree
2 years of experience in investment operations or middle office functions within the financial services industry
Foundational level of experience in the investment management industry
Knowledge of investment control testing or audits
Experience with Microsoft Office tools such as Excel, Word and Outlook
