Key responsibilities & impact
  • Analyze complex business problems using data from internal and external sources to deliver actionable insights to analysts, business partners, and senior decision-makers
  • Identify and interpret trends and patterns within large datasets
  • Translate business needs into detailed reporting and analytics specifications
  • Prototype intuitive visualization solutions that support strategic decision-making
  • Lead and participate in gathering complex business requirements by partnering with customers
  • Utilize an advanced understanding of multiple data structures and sources to lead the development and implementation of business intelligence solutions
  • Strategically partner with IT execution teams on analytic infrastructures, data engineering, or related business intelligence efforts
  • Act as a trusted data visualization advisor to stakeholders

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in quantitative analytics field such as Economics, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Actuarial Sciences, Operations Research, Data and/or Business Analysis, Data Science or other business-related discipline; OR 4 years of related experience in statistics, mathematics or quantitative analytics may be substituted in lieu of degree
  • 6 years of data & analytics experience OR a minimum of 4 years of data & analytics experience and up to 2 years of progressive functional business relevant experience
  • Advanced experience developing business deliverables that leverage business intelligence platforms, data management platforms, or SQL-based languages (Tableau, Business Objects, Snowflake, Hadoop, Netezza, NoSQL, ANSI SQL, or related)
  • Tableau certifications strongly preferred, including: Certified Tableau Data Analyst, Certified Tableau Architect, Tableau Certified Professional
  • Demonstrated strong executive-level communication and influencing skills
