About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Define, champion, and drive the overall authentication strategy and roadmap, prioritizing enhancements to existing capabilities and introduction of net-new solutions.
- Translate business objectives and member needs into actionable, and precise authentication and security requirements for technology and design teams.
- Continuously analyze and innovate existing authentication journeys to proactively reduce fraud risk and improve operational efficiency.
- Provide thought leadership and guidance on fraud risk management and compliance best practices.
- Monitor and analyze fraud and authentication success/fail rates to identify emerging threats and vulnerabilities.
- Champion a robust risk management framework for all authentication-related activities.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree OR 4 years of related fraud, compliance, risk, audit or regulatory experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.
- 8 years of operations experience in a relevant functional area including financial services, Fraud, AML, compliance, risk, audit, third party risk management or related areas that support fraud risk management initiatives.
- 6 years of fraud, compliance, risk, audit, or regulatory related experience with accountability for projects, programs, processes or policies.
- Expert knowledge of relevant laws and regulatory, compliance and industry regulations.
- Demonstrated analytical, organizational and problem-solving abilities requiring attention to detail to identify fraud risks and trends.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate and execute among cross-functional teams, including all levels of the organization and with external regulatory agencies.
- Proven ability to lead and influence others in a cross-functional environment.
