About the role

  • Responsible for developing and supporting the execution and innovative strategies for member deepening/product growth, engagement, and retention based on data driven insights.
  • Responsible for the development of leading-edge research/insights capabilities that create marketing plans to deepen member relationships with USAA.
  • This executive will influence digital product management which includes all experience and interaction platforms with the goal of enabling agile expansion/integration into external ecosystems.
  • Accountable for managing high-performing teams, utilizing data-driven insights, collaborating cross-functionally, overseeing and optimizing marketing budget allocations, and driving initiatives for enhanced member engagement.
  • Drive the development and delivery of a comprehensive member marketing strategy and marketing plan to deepen relationships with Members in partnership with key stakeholders.
  • Responsible for being the voice of USAA Members from day one to prospects, advocating for their experience focused on Sales and Marketing engagements.
  • Deliver best-in-class personalization capabilities to drive deepening within and across CoSAs.
  • Provide thought leadership on the sales, services, and experiences including onboarding, landing pages overall LOB acquisition strategy.
  • Utilize data-driven insights to identify opportunities, optimize campaigns, and measure the effectiveness of member marketing initiatives.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product, acquisition, brand, and member experience teams to ensure a cohesive and integrated approach to member engagement, support marketing objectives, and drive business growth.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree; OR 4 years of related experience in addition to the minimum years of experience required may be substituted in lieu of degree.
  • 10 years of progressive related experience developing financial services marketing strategies, managing major initiatives, and delivering results within a large, complex organization.
  • 8 years of people leadership experience in building, managing and/or developing high-performing teams required.
  • Proven track record creating marketing and sales strategies and programs across the entire customer lifecycle, including acquiring new customers and deepening customer relationships to drive the performance of the business.
  • Demonstrated experience in working in a multi-product environment and marketing a broad range of financial products.
  • Experience collaborating with key resources and stakeholders, influencing decisions, and managing work to achieve strategic goals required.
