About the role
- Lead development and implementation of technical strategies to assure achievement of CFO and Corporate Functions (HR, Legal, Risk & Audit) goals
- Serve as primary consultant to IT, executive management and other personnel in large-scale IT efforts
- Provide authoritative technical advice to senior management regarding systems development, hardware and software configurations
- Evaluate design and architecture of proposed systems to determine feasibility and business impacts
- Influence product direction and features for critical vendors and provide knowledge counsel to executive management
- Direct assessment of integration and support impacts of new, proposed, and existing technologies
- Direct scope, design, coordination, and implementation decisions concerning integration of complex computer and telecommunication systems
- Build and oversee a team of Technical Architects through recruiting, development, retention, coaching, performance management, and managerial activities
- Ensure risks associated with business activities are identified, measured, monitored, and controlled in accordance with risk and compliance policies
- Architect and integrate AI and agentic systems to automate workflows and augment decision-making
- Collaborate with business leaders to translate functional needs into scalable technical solutions
- Ensure compliance with security, data governance, and regulatory frameworks
- Participate in mentoring, Architecture Review Boards, Tech Talks, and promote best practices
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, business administration, MIS or related field; OR 4 years of related experience may be substituted in lieu of degree
- Minimum 10 years of progressive Information Technology/IT development or implementation/consulting experience
- 4 years of leadership experience advocating, developing, and investing in the personal growth of Technical Architect or Engineering communities
- Experience collaborating with key resources and stakeholders, influencing decisions and managing work to achieve strategic goals
- Demonstrated understanding of applications, server technology, networking and/or security
- Executive level business acumen in business operations, industry practices and emerging trends
- Ability to consider process, business impact, timing, budget, organization, strategy, and change management for technology decisions
- Excellent leadership, creativity, communication, presentation, writing, and collaboration skills
- Ability to effectively contribute IT Architecture for high level, multi-effort business change and highest complexity projects
- Comprehensive knowledge of current and emerging technologies affecting business functions
- Comprehensive domain knowledge of business process across CFO, HR, Legal, Risk & Audit functions
- Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems
- Understanding of financial reporting, FP&A, treasury, and regulatory compliance
- Exposure to data analytics, forecasting models, and cost optimization
- Experience mentoring architects and developers; leading Architecture Review Boards and Tech Talks
- Expertise in designing and implementing integration solutions, familiarity with APIs, ETL tools, and middleware
- Knowledge of IT related risk management framework and policies
- Relevant certifications preferred (e.g., AWS Certified Solution Architect, CTA – Salesforce, Google AI, Microsoft AI Fundamentals, ITIL – Master, TOGAF 9, Zachman Certified Enterprise Architect)
