About the role

  • Lead the strategy, development, and rollout of USAA’s new Home Equity Line of Credit product
  • Own the full product lifecycle—from building the business case and designing credit policies to coordinating cross‑functional execution
  • Ensure the HELOC product delivers a best‑in‑class Member experience while meeting profitability, risk, and growth objectives
  • Manage the P&L and ensure business plan expectations are achieved
  • Develop strong interactions and communications to report on the health and overall status of the product portfolio
  • Work collaboratively across various teams to deliver an industry leading product offering that drives strong profitability growth
  • Develop talent to deliver risk-conscious performance and results
  • Identify, prioritize, and launch innovative products that drive business and customer value
  • Manage plan for growing products through effective segmentation strategy
  • Ensure product team delivers sales support to all distribution channels
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made
  • Ensure risks associated with business activities are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain Management, Statistics, or related discipline; OR 4 years of related experience may be substituted in lieu of degree
  • 10 years of experience as a Product Management, Digital Transformation, Data Science or Visualization leader for products/platforms
  • 6 years of people leadership experience
  • Deep understanding of product P&L and high level of fluency in MV (member value) and ROI drivers
  • Highly analytical with experience leveraging different types of data
  • Strong strategic thinker with experience managing the P&L
  • Comprehensive knowledge of risk management best practices
  • Excellent written and verbal communications; ability to influence without authority
  • Deep understanding and extensive experience in applying Agile methodology
  • Knowledge of federal laws, rules, and regulations, to include: HMDA, TILA/REG Z, RESPA, FDPA, Reg B, SCRA.
