Capture all patient clinical information and accurately document it in the electronic medical record
Transcribe/translate history and physical exams and document physician encounters
List diagnoses, symptoms, follow-up instructions, and prescriptions as dictated by the physician
Transcribe patient orders including laboratory tests, radiology tests, medications
Document any procedures performed by the physician
Cross-trained to handle receptionist duties as needed
Maintain professional appearance and conduct and adhere to employer work practices
Establish and maintain effective working relationships with physicians, staff and management
Document work processes and perform other duties as assigned
Help improve clinical outcomes and reduce patient wait times
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent, required
6-months experience as a Medical Scribe or equivalent education and experience, required
Spanish and English fluent, required
Individual seeking to continue higher education in medical school or other healthcare profession, preferred
