About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide strategic leadership and operational oversight of the material estimating function across the organization.
Drive centralization of people and process from a local to a national scale.
Partner closely with sales leadership and operations to establish service level agreements (SLAs).
Ensure consistent, high-quality outputs, and continuously refine workflows to maximize accuracy, speed, cost effectiveness, and profitability.
Own and continuously improve workflows to enhance speed, accuracy, and cost efficiency.
Establish accountability for performance, accuracy, timeliness, and cost effectiveness.
Collaborate with enterprise peers to share best practices and advance standardized, best-in-class solutions.
Lead and support people development, succession planning, and performance management.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's Degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, mathematics, business, or a related field preferred.
Extensive experience in residential construction, design, and/or estimating environments.
Demonstrated experience leading multi‑location or regional teams.
Proven track record of process standardization, operational improvement, and change leadership.
Experience partnering closely with sales organizations in a service‑driven environment.
Strong knowledge of residential construction systems, design, and estimating processes.
Strategic thinker with the ability to balance standardization and local market needs.
Proven leadership, coaching, and accountability‑driven management skills.
Strong analytical, financial, and problem‑solving capabilities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple, competing priorities across a regional footprint.
High level of initiative, flexibility, and attention to detail.
Strong proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Experience with estimating and design platforms such as SAGE Estimator (PlanSwift), SAGE 300/500, or similar systems preferred.
