About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own and nurture the customer relationship in a team based selling model
  • Educate customers on ordering platforms and provide menu consultations
  • Drive sales through delivering impactful presentations and tailoring sales approach
  • Work collaboratively with Specialists and internal teams to assist with new accounts
  • Develop new business by identifying prospective customers
  • Manage deliveries and troubleshoot any problems during the order process
  • Share information about market conditions, product innovations, and competitors with customers
  • Conduct regular check ins, site visits and follow ups to ensure customer satisfaction

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 1+ year of sales experience preferred
  • HS Diploma or equivalent
  • A valid driver’s license is required
  • Foodservice industry/culinary/restaurant management/hospitality experience preferred
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to build internal and external relationships and cold call to develop new business
  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Problem solving ability / organization and negotiation skills
  • Tech-savviness – proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools like Salesforce is a plus
  • Ability to occasionally lift or carry up to 75 lbs
