About the role
- Oversee a group of Territory Managers (TMs) in the selling of the Company's products and services.
- Direct TMs against opportunities in closing and acquiring new accounts.
- Provide coaching, mentoring, and training to TMs to achieve profitable sales and case growth objectives.
- Research, develop, and maintain long and short-range sales plans.
- Assist TMs in warming leads and closing, while opening new accounts.
- Submit and administer annual street sales operating plan and budget, tracking performance against plan.
- Communicate sales data to contribute to product/service planning.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales & Marketing or related field or equivalent experience required.
- A minimum of five years of foodservice sales experience required.
- A minimum of two years of supervisory experience required.
- Demonstrated problem solving and negotiation skills required.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Must have proficient computer skills, preferably in Microsoft Office products (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Valid driver's license required.
