About the role
- Ensure a warehouse culture focused on people, safety, service, and cost.
- Manage personnel and drive efficient warehouse operations.
- Champion safety procedures and training.
- Oversee and develop warehouse associates.
- Direct and supervise the work and productivity of associates.
- Participate in building high-performing teams through hiring and coaching.
- Monitor operational information to ensure compliance with productivity targets.
- Maintain physical condition and safety of warehouse and equipment.
- Regularly inspect facility for safety hazards.
Requirements
- Minimum of three years of experience in warehouse distribution required.
- Minimum of one year of experience overseeing a workforce required.
- Broad knowledge of warehouse operations, methods and procedures.
- Strong leadership, communication and people development skills.
- Familiarity with inventory control, OSHA, HACCP and other regulatory requirements.
- Ability to interpret financial and operational data.
- High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred.
