About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design and document Quickbase solutions following well-architected framework principles
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions across multiple technologies
- Create and maintain Quickbase architecture documentation, including architectural diagrams, PDD, SDD, and runbooks
- Manage and maintain the Quickbase realm, including apps, users, roles, and pipelines
- Optimize app structure for scalability, maintainability, and usability
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle
- Design tables, relationships, fields, forms, reports, dashboards, and permissions
- Conduct Quickbase app, pipeline, formula, integration, and configuration reviews for governance and standards compliance
- Enhance existing workflows, pipelines, formulas, code pages, and related configurations
- Design, build, configure, and test Quickbase applications
- Work with the Enterprise Architect and Senior Automation Developer to follow enterprise architecture governance
- Maintain awareness of technology trends to keep Quickbase development competitive and secure
- Perform other duties assigned by management
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business, or a related field required, or equivalent work experience
- 3+ years of experience designing and implementing complex solutions in Quickbase, including pipelines and code pages
- Experience integrating Quickbase solutions with external systems using APIs, databases, and other technologies
- 3+ years working in a Microsoft Windows environment, including Windows 10/11, Office 365, and SharePoint
- 2+ years’ experience translating human processes into Quickbase solutions
- Solid knowledge of Agile methodology and 2+ years’ experience working in a Scrum team setting
- Good understanding of programming fundamentals and concepts
- Solid understanding of JavaScript within Quickbase
- Experience with Formula fields and Dynamic rules
- Ability to understand and translate business needs into technical application solutions
- Familiarity with REST APIs, JSON, authentication methods, and integration patterns
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work with multiple teams simultaneously
- Excellent time management skills and ability to work on multiple business-critical projects simultaneously
- Understanding of core security and compliance principles in a healthcare environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to learn and proficiently apply new technologies and platforms
- Ability to perform the essential physical requirements, with or without reasonable accommodation
