About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Managing and maintaining the company’s IT infrastructure ensuring optimal performance, security, and availability of systems and networks
- Advanced troubleshooting, system upgrades, and implementation of new technologies to support business operations
- Monitors, maintains, and supports servers, and other IT infrastructure components to ensure high availability and performance
- Diagnoses and resolves complex hardware, software, and network issues in a timely manner
- Assists in setting up security measures, including antivirus solutions, to protect company data and IT infrastructure
- Plans and executes system upgrades, patches, and installations to keep the IT environment up-to-date and secure
- Manages backup and disaster recovery solutions to ensure data integrity and availability
- Maintains detailed documentation of system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps
- Provides advanced technical support to end-users and assists with IT-related inquiries and issues
- Leads or participates in IT related projects, including the deployment of new technologies and systems
Requirements
What you’ll need- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, or similar
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field is a plus but not required
- Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in IT systems administration or a similar role
- Proficiency in Windows server environments, virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V), networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP), and cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure)
