About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Managing and maintaining the company’s IT infrastructure ensuring optimal performance, security, and availability of systems and networks
Advanced troubleshooting, system upgrades, and implementation of new technologies to support business operations
Monitors, maintains, and supports servers, and other IT infrastructure components to ensure high availability and performance
Diagnoses and resolves complex hardware, software, and network issues in a timely manner
Assists in setting up security measures, including antivirus solutions, to protect company data and IT infrastructure
Plans and executes system upgrades, patches, and installations to keep the IT environment up-to-date and secure
Manages backup and disaster recovery solutions to ensure data integrity and availability
Maintains detailed documentation of system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps
Provides advanced technical support to end-users and assists with IT-related inquiries and issues
Leads or participates in IT related projects, including the deployment of new technologies and systems

Requirements

What you’ll need

Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, or similar
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field is a plus but not required
Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in IT systems administration or a similar role
Proficiency in Windows server environments, virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V), networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP), and cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure)
