About the role

  • Provides advanced level expertise to prepare financial analysis, metrics and reports and complete special projects as required
  • Prepares financial analyses, including trending, productivity metrics, revenue cycle, and other ad hoc projects, as well as financial reports and graphic presentations
  • Reviews existing methods for extracting, analyzing, and presenting data through project completion
  • Maintains a thorough understanding of the company’s financial information system, including the ability to write financial reports and make inquiries for data
  • Responds to financial surveys on a monthly, quarterly, annual, or ad hoc basis
  • Handles confidential material on a regular basis and protects confidentiality of such information
  • Organizes individual work schedule and establishes priorities for completion of projects within guidelines from management
  • Provides additional back up for payroll monthly reconciliations
  • Performs additional duties, as needed

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or related area required
  • Master’s degree preferred
  • Three years of analytical experience with a master’s degree OR 8 years of analytical experience with a bachelor’s degree required
  • Three to five years healthcare experience strongly preferred
  • Proficient PC skills, specifically in Excel and Access required
  • Two years of experience with SQL and VBA programming preferred
  • C# experience is a plus
  • Superior analytical abilities, including the ability to identify issues, problems, and solutions
  • Superior mathematical aptitude, including the ability to build formulas for performing analysis
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills
  • Ability to work independently and under deadlines, demonstrating solid professional judgment
  • Knowledge of organization policies, procedures, and systems preferred
  • Knowledge of office management practices and accounting procedures
  • Strong computer skills including MS Excel, MS Word, MS Access
  • Ability to read, write and speak English
  • Ability to complete physical requirements with or without reasonable accommodation (occasional standing/walking, frequent sitting, frequent hand/finger movement, use office equipment)
