Provides advanced level expertise to prepare financial analysis, metrics and reports and complete special projects as required
Prepares financial analyses, including trending, productivity metrics, revenue cycle, and other ad hoc projects, as well as financial reports and graphic presentations
Reviews existing methods for extracting, analyzing, and presenting data through project completion
Maintains a thorough understanding of the company’s financial information system, including the ability to write financial reports and make inquiries for data
Responds to financial surveys on a monthly, quarterly, annual, or ad hoc basis
Handles confidential material on a regular basis and protects confidentiality of such information
Organizes individual work schedule and establishes priorities for completion of projects within guidelines from management
Provides additional back up for payroll monthly reconciliations
Performs additional duties, as needed
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or related area required
Master’s degree preferred
Three years of analytical experience with a master’s degree OR 8 years of analytical experience with a bachelor’s degree required
Three to five years healthcare experience strongly preferred
Proficient PC skills, specifically in Excel and Access required
Two years of experience with SQL and VBA programming preferred
C# experience is a plus
Superior analytical abilities, including the ability to identify issues, problems, and solutions
Superior mathematical aptitude, including the ability to build formulas for performing analysis
Excellent oral and written communications skills
Ability to work independently and under deadlines, demonstrating solid professional judgment
Knowledge of organization policies, procedures, and systems preferred
Knowledge of office management practices and accounting procedures
Strong computer skills including MS Excel, MS Word, MS Access
Ability to read, write and speak English
Ability to complete physical requirements with or without reasonable accommodation (occasional standing/walking, frequent sitting, frequent hand/finger movement, use office equipment)
