About the role
- Support the Events department with planning and execution of in‑person and virtual events
- Deliver event-focused marketing and content
- Assist with planning, logistics and day‑of management for meetings, conferences, trainings, community events, and executive meetings
- Coordinate on‑site vendors and partner with A/V teams
- Prepare and distribute event materials
- Manage attendee communication
- Support travel coordination for staff, speakers, and guests
- Maintain event budgets, track expenses, process invoices
- Draft and edit copy for email campaigns, web/event pages, social posts, and on‑site signage
- Create simple visual assets and slide decks
- Monitor and analyze campaign and website performance
- Manage and coordinate content distribution across digital channels
Requirements
- Associate degree or Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Hospitality, Event Management, or related field preferred; or equivalent work experience.
- 0–2 years in events, hospitality, marketing, administrative support, or customer service.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Experience with CMS/HubSpot, Workday, or travel booking tools is a plus.
- Basic familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere) or Canva preferred.
- Strong organization, attention to detail, verbal and written communication, customer service orientation, problem solving, ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Comfortable working with cross‑functional teams, leadership, vendors, and external speakers.
- Willingness to work occasional evenings, weekends, and travel for events (up to 10–25% depending on event schedule).
