About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support the Events department with planning and execution of in‑person and virtual events
  • Deliver event-focused marketing and content
  • Assist with planning, logistics and day‑of management for meetings, conferences, trainings, community events, and executive meetings
  • Coordinate on‑site vendors and partner with A/V teams
  • Prepare and distribute event materials
  • Manage attendee communication
  • Support travel coordination for staff, speakers, and guests
  • Maintain event budgets, track expenses, process invoices
  • Draft and edit copy for email campaigns, web/event pages, social posts, and on‑site signage
  • Create simple visual assets and slide decks
  • Monitor and analyze campaign and website performance
  • Manage and coordinate content distribution across digital channels

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Associate degree or Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Hospitality, Event Management, or related field preferred; or equivalent work experience.
  • 0–2 years in events, hospitality, marketing, administrative support, or customer service.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Experience with CMS/HubSpot, Workday, or travel booking tools is a plus.
  • Basic familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere) or Canva preferred.
  • Strong organization, attention to detail, verbal and written communication, customer service orientation, problem solving, ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Comfortable working with cross‑functional teams, leadership, vendors, and external speakers.
  • Willingness to work occasional evenings, weekends, and travel for events (up to 10–25% depending on event schedule).
