About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Execute and manage monthly, quarterly and annual accounting close activities;
Post journal entries, perform reconciliations and analyze balance sheet and income statement accounts;
Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring application of CPC and IFRS standards where applicable;
Analyze accounting impacts of tax, financial, asset and corporate transactions;
Support internal and external audits by providing information, reports and technical clarifications;
Perform critical analyses of results and accounting metrics, proposing improvements to processes, internal controls and automations;
Interface with internal departments to ensure consistency of accounting information, meeting deadlines and compliance with legal and corporate obligations.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Accounting;
Knowledge of General and Corporate Accounting, CPCs and IFRS;
Experience with reconciliations, account analysis, accounting close and preparation of financial statements;
Working knowledge of tax legislation as applied to accounting, internal controls and compliance;
Proficient in Microsoft Office, advanced Excel skills;
Experience with SAP is a plus.
