About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Drive growth of URBN's paid marketing programs and accelerate new user acquisition for the Urban Outfitters brand
- Manage and optimize significant investments across Google and Microsoft Ads
- Oversee budget management for multi-million-dollar programs, including planning, forecasting, and investment recommendations
- Own daily campaign flighting, including budget and target adjustments
- Oversee full account performance and resolve shifts affecting business outcomes
- Monitor account performance and core metrics daily and weekly
- Roll out optimizations based on account trends and report business impact
- Track weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting across the full program
- Identify reports and dashboards to surface program shifts and trends
- Share paid search trends with the broader business to guide decision-making
- Partner on the strategic testing roadmap and maintain quarterly roadmaps
- Lead major test rollouts, including AI Max, structural overhauls, and new bidding features
- Create measurement and reporting plans for tests
- Own final test analyses and wrap reports for the search team and brand partners
- Lead collaboration across the search team and manage Paid Search Associates
- Collaborate with creative, merchandising, and social media teams
- Maintain relationships with Google and Bing search engine partners
- Stay current on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field
- 5-7+ years of hands-on experience in SEM or performance marketing, preferably in the retail industry
- In-depth knowledge of Google Ads, Google Analytics, SA360 (or similar), and Microsoft Advertising
- Experience managing complex Paid Search programs with activations across Text and Shopping/PMAX
- Feed knowledge is a plus
- Prior experience leading, managing, or mentoring junior teammates
- Strong analytical skills and data-driven mindset, with the ability to interpret and communicate complex data effectively
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
- Familiarity with SEO, YouTube, and Display is a plus
