About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Assist in designing original graphic artwork, placement prints, seamless patterns, and typography treatments for performance and lifestyle apparel
- Research macro and micro trends in activewear, wellness, graphics, and color
- Help build physical and digital mood boards for seasonal kickoff presentations
- Generate accurate CADs to communicate scale and print placements on garments
- Assist in building clear, concise tech packs for graphics and embellishments for vendors and factories
- Collaborate with color and product development teams to provide colorway options
- Review and log incoming strike-offs, lab dips, and bulk fabric submissions to ensure accurate artwork execution
- Partner with apparel design, technical design, product development, and merchandising teams
- Maintain an organized digital workspace with clear naming conventions for art files
- Track physical samples, strike-offs, and development progress
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, Fashion, Textiles, Illustration, or a related discipline
- 0–2 years of relevant experience in graphic design or apparel graphics
- Internship experience in the fashion or activewear industry is highly preferred
- High proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
- Experience with hand-drawing, painting, Procreate, or AI creative platforms is a strong plus
- Portfolio demonstrating strong layout, typography, and illustration skills
- Clear understanding of the FP Movement aesthetic and activewear competitive space
- Basic understanding of apparel construction, printing techniques (screen print, sublimation, heat transfer), and embroidery is preferred
- Excellent communication skills
- Highly organized and able to thrive in a fast-paced, highly collaborative team environment
