About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Deliver food and beverages accurately, with an understanding of menu details
Assist with guest needs and relay questions or concerns to the appropriate team member
Clear and reset tables within 3 minutes of guest departure
Assist with packaging takeout orders
Maintain awareness of the dining room and proactively assist where needed
Keep kitchen expo areas, service stations, and dining room clean and organized
Polish and restock silverware, glassware, and plateware throughout the shift
Monitor and remove trash and recycling regularly
Ensure safe and clear walkways for guests and staff
Memorize table and seat numbers to aid efficient service
Learn menu details, ingredients, and allergen protocols
Communicate guest concerns clearly to team leads
Assist front-of-house staff during high-volume periods
Help with opening and closing duties, including setting/resetting the dining room

Requirements

What you’ll need

Previous restaurant or food service experience preferred, but not necessary
Entry-level position; passion for details
Polished, professional appearance
Positive, team-oriented attitude
Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Flexible availability preferred, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and select holidays
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
Ability to bend and reach
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
