About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support the Design Team with administrative duties for own-brand product design and development
  • Participate in weekly Design Flow Meetings, take notes, and manage follow-up communication
  • Support seasonal development calendars with designers, buyers, technical designers, and production
  • Execute assigned design development projects and manage trim and artwork packages
  • Set up spec sheets for private-label products
  • Partner with Product Development on style status and execution against design specifications
  • Prepare development packages and handle related follow-up communication
  • Review incoming garments with Designers and Product Development partners
  • Assist with sample preparation and presentations for monthly sales review meetings
  • Perform special tasks as needed

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Proficiency with Procreate and Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
  • Experience putting together artwork and embellishment packages preferred
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong organizational and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to reprioritize as development needs shift
  • Self-starter with a bias for action
  • Entry-level technical knowledge of apparel construction
  • Entry-level knowledge of design processes
  • Ability to clearly communicate
