About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide training for individual or group settings to new hires as well as tenured employees.
- Possess excellent communication skills and ability to explain tasks to others.
- Assist with new hire orientation, onboarding processes, and safety compliance.
- Monitor and report on training, productivity, and accuracy of new hires.
- Ensure new hire, re-training, and cross-training are completed per SOPs and work instructions.
- Deliver PIT certifications and evaluations.
- Uphold a respectful workplace environment while encouraging team collaboration.
- Support all other duties as assigned by operational leadership or as business requires.
- Able to operate department-specific technology to execute and train on job tasks i.e. RF scanners or desktop computers and touchscreens.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Must be 18 years or older
- High school degree or GED a plus
- Comprehend and follow work instructions to meet productivity and quality standards
- Possess time management and organizational skills
- Working knowledge of warehouse equipment (i.e. forklift, pallet jack, cherry picker)
- Able to multi-task and prioritize effectively in a team environment
- Able to work with minimal supervision
- Able to keep confidential information private
- Bi-lingual preferred
- Maintain acceptable attendance and must be able to work overtime as required
