About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Greet all guests warmly as a representative of the Terrain brand
Provide professional and attentive service throughout the event
Mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and consistency
Execute both featured and client requested cocktails per brand standards
Properly pour wine and beer; maintain knowledge of classic and seasonal cocktails, as well as our curated selection of NA drinks
Follow setup checklists: stock liquor, beer, wine, mixers, garnishes, and tools
Maintain visual standards with polished glassware and elegant bar displays
Assist with service, glassware restocking, and post-event teardown
Inventory and label alcohol; support full venue reset for the next event
ID guests under 25 and comply with current laws to ensure responsible alcohol practices
Refuse service to intoxicated or underage guests with professionalism

Requirements

What you’ll need

Preferred experience is minimum 2 years bartending
Event catering, banquets, fine dining, or upscale hospitality is a plus
Certification: RAMP certification required
Skills: Fast-paced cocktail execution, teamwork, and multitasking under pressure
Availability: Must be available for nights, weekends, and some holidays; minimum of 3 shifts/month during peak season (April–December)
Physical Requirements: Able to work 8–10 hour shifts, lift up to 50 lbs, and work both indoors and outdoors
Transportation: Reliable transportation required
Scheduling: Weekly recurring availability required; Typical Shift: 2:00 PM – 12:00 AM
Comfortable with formal event moments (speeches, dances, etc.)
