Alterations Tailoring Supervisor

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Oversee the repair process for women’s clothing.
- Supervise and coordinate the day-to-day repair workload.
- Ensure a proper workflow and meet department UPH & CPU costs.
- Work on the floor at least 75% of the time, providing oversight.
- Coach, train, and mentor when needed.
- Manage indirect roles and ensure repaired units are inspected on time.
- Support Repairs Manager with day-to-day responsibilities.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3+ years supervising a team in a production, distribution, manufacturing or call center.
- Knowledge of Google Workspace - Excel and Word.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of garment construction and garment alterations.
- Knowledge of garment manufacturing is a plus.
- Understanding of professional sewing machines, sergers, blind hem machines.
- Strong analytical, problem solving and reporting skills.
