About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Initiates conversation with customers as they enter the store and informs them of current promotions
- Supports a selling environment in all areas of the sales floor by connecting with multiple customers, sharing product information, and helping to maintain a well-kept, clean store
- Processes sales for the customer accurately and efficiently as a cashier
- Contributes to the store by being positive, respectful, and helpful to others
- Collaborates with peers and leadership, sharing ideas and jumping in to support the needs of the team
- Maintains visual and operational standards while keeping the focus on the customer
- Supports processing shipment, tagging, staging, and placing new product
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience in customer service
- Experience being a team player
- Ability to work flexible hours to meet the needs of the store including nights and weekends and holidays.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy boxes and furniture
