About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Oversee the development and execution of store-level plans, stock-to-sales ratios, size profiling, and back-stock management
- Monitor category performance and collaborate on financial plans and monthly forecasts
- Balance unit and style counts across the fleet to align with localized demand and store profiles
- Analyze selling patterns to provide continuous inventory recommendations
- Ensure the seamless and timely execution of product delivery for new store openings
- Standardize and elevate current allocation processes while integrating new systems and analytical tools
- Utilize and execute new systems and tools to optimize inventory flow and efficiency
- Manage, coach, and develop the allocation team to foster professional growth
- Partner with Buying, Planning, and Distribution Center to optimize merchandise flow
- Maintain clear communication with retail store teams
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5–7 years of experience in retail allocation or inventory planning
- at least 1–2 years of experience directly managing and developing a team
- Prior allocation or inventory planning experience within a specialty retail brand or apparel company is highly preferred
- Superior financial acumen and analytical skills
- Results-oriented with a strong sense of accountability and drive
- Creative, "outside-the-box" thinker
- Strong communication skills
