Home Assistant Designer – Functional Decor

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Conceptual Create special and inspiring 3D designs across hardware, storage, mirrors, and wall decor…aligning with current design trends and the Anthropologie brand identity
- Support the design team in researching, preparing sketches, and gathering swatches for sketch review presentations
- Conduct home & fashion trend research focusing on innovative techniques and materials
- Find whitespace opportunities for new products to diversify our assortment
- Assist in sketching ideas with Adobe Illustrator, translating 3D ideas into 2D orthographic views
- Render concepts in Adobe Photoshop + AI programs (PromeAI, Vizcom, etc) to produce compelling + realistic imagery
- Tech pack designs with detailed specifications for sampling, and a strong attention to detail
- Work with our product development team to assist in the creation of samples and strategize creative product solutions
- Align closely with cross-functional teams, including concept, product development, and buying to ensure cohesive storytelling across all channels
- Attend team cross functional meetings
- Help prepare and set up samples for product line reviews
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, or similar area preferred
- Entry-level proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) and basic sketching skills
- Internship experience
- Curiosity in design trends and the arts
- Foundational understanding of design principles and interest in home product
- Keen attention to detail and organizational skills
- Desire to learn the retail business and design process in a fast-paced environment
