About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Supervise banquet staff, porters, and bartenders to maintain high service standards throughout the event.
Lead and mentor a team of Event Coordinators, ensuring balanced workloads and professional growth.
Serve as the on-site contact for weddings, managing the seamless transition from ceremony to cocktail hour to reception.
Conduct detail meetings to finalize floor plans, menus, and run-of-show.
Ensure all venue facilities are maintained, and proper procedures are followed to ensure the equipment and establishment are operating fully.

Requirements

What you’ll need

A minimum of 5 yrs. experience as a team manager in a comparable restaurant or event environment
TIP/RAMP Certification, or willing to become certified
Serve Safe Certified, or willing to become certified
Strong work ethic and excellent multi-tasking skills
Personable and professional demeanor
Ability to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 10 hours), nights, weekends and holidays.
