About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Greet all guests warmly as a representative of the Terrain brand.
- Provide professional and attentive service throughout the event.
- Mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and consistency.
- Execute both featured and client requested cocktails per brand standards.
- Properly pour wine and beer; maintain knowledge of classic and seasonal cocktails, as well as our curated selection of NA drinks.
- Follow setup checklists: stock liquor, beer, wine, mixers, garnishes, and tools.
- Maintain visual standards with polished glassware and elegant bar displays.
- Assist with service, glassware restocking, and post-event teardown.
- Inventory and label alcohol; support full venue reset for the next event.
- ID guests under 25 and comply with current laws to ensure responsible alcohol practices.
- Refuse service to intoxicated or underage guests with professionalism.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Preferred experience is minimum 2 years bartending
- Event catering, banquets, fine dining, or upscale hospitality is a plus.
- Certification: RAMP certification required.
- Skills: Fast-paced cocktail execution, teamwork, and multitasking under pressure.
- Availability: Must be available for nights, weekends, and some holidays; minimum of 3 shifts/month during peak season (April–December).
- Physical Requirements: Able to work 8–10 hour shifts, lift up to 50 lbs, and work both indoors and outdoors.
- Transportation: Reliable transportation required.
- Scheduling: Weekly recurring availability required; Typical Shift: 2:00 PM – 12:00 AM
- Comfortable with formal event moments (speeches, dances, etc.)
