About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Greet all guests warmly as a representative of the Terrain brand
  • Provide professional and attentive service throughout the event
  • Mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and consistency
  • Execute both featured and client requested cocktails per brand standards
  • Properly pour wine and beer; maintain knowledge of classic and seasonal cocktails, as well as our curated selection of NA drinks
  • Follow setup checklists: stock liquor, beer, wine, mixers, garnishes, and tools
  • Maintain visual standards with polished glassware and elegant bar displays
  • Assist with service, glassware restocking, and post-event teardown
  • Inventory and label alcohol; support full venue reset for the next event
  • ID guests under 25 and comply with current laws to ensure responsible alcohol practices

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Preferred experience is minimum 2 years bartending
  • Event catering, banquets, fine dining, or upscale hospitality is a plus
  • Certification: RAMP certification required
  • Skills: Fast-paced cocktail execution, teamwork, and multitasking under pressure
  • Communication: Clear, friendly, and professional with guests and colleagues
  • Availability: Must be available for nights, weekends, and some holidays; minimum of 3 shifts/month during peak season (April–December)
  • Physical Requirements: Able to work 8–10 hour shifts, lift up to 50 lbs, and work both indoors and outdoors
  • Transportation: Reliable transportation required
  • Scheduling: Weekly recurring availability required; Typical Shift: 2:00 PM – 12:00 AM
  • Comfortable with formal event moments (speeches, dances, etc.)
