Partner with the operations team and housekeeping to maintain the facility's sanitation and cleanliness.
Sweep and clean all stairs, walkways, signage, and common areas.
As needed, utilize a floor sweeper and scrubber.
Wipe down all handrails, cabinets, and ledges.
Maintain trash cans, paper towel dispensers, soap dispensers, and hand sanitizers.
Ensure that all employee areas, including timeclocks and lockers, are regularly cleaned and well-maintained.
Partner with housekeeping contractor regarding canteen, office, and restroom cleanliness.
Assist the Maintenance Department with scheduled shutdowns.
Be willing to accept new and diverse assignments that are requested by the Supervisor.

Requirements

Must be 18 years or older
High school degree or GED is preferred
Comprehend and follow work instructions to meet productivity and quality standards
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced team environment
Maintain acceptable attendance and must be able to work overtime as required

Physical Requirements: Stand and walk throughout a shift, climb, balance, kneel, crouch, or crawl for extended periods, reach, pull, push, and lift freight and other objects of various shapes, sizes, and weights up to 50 pounds, operate warehouse equipment safely as required for the position (i.e. pallet jack, box cutter, carts) which requires coordinated movements.
