About the role

  • Preparation of E&P, Subpart F, GILTI, FDII, and Foreign Tax Credit calculations, including all supporting work papers and required research
  • Preparation of international forms for foreign entities, including Forms 5471, 8858, and 8865
  • Participation in preparation of U.S. federal tax return (Form 1120), including proformas, complex book/tax adjustments, provision to return reconciliations, supporting work papers, and associated research
  • Assistance with preparation of quarterly and annual federal and international tax provisions (ASC 740), including calculation of book/tax differences, reconciliation of tax payable and receivable accounts, memos (valuation allowances, unremitted earnings, other ASC 740 areas), and international tax accounting calculations
  • Support tax inputs for preparation of foreign jurisdiction statutory financial statements and tax returns
  • Direct assistance in additional tax matters including, but not limited to, audits, notices, planning and other reporting requirements
  • Active participation in department-wide initiatives, process improvements, and ad hoc projects as the needs of a dynamic global tax function evolve

Requirements

  • 5–8 years of progressive tax experience with meaningful exposure to both federal and international compliance
  • Big Four or large public company corporate in-house tax experience
  • Strong ASC 740 / tax provision foundation, including direct responsibility for preparing provision schedules
  • Hands-on experience with E&P, Subpart F, GILTI, and Foreign Tax Credits
  • Experience preparing international information returns (Forms 5471, 8858, 8865)
  • Experience preparing U.S. federal consolidated tax returns (Form 1120), including proformas and schedule M adjustments
  • Proven project and time management capabilities, with demonstrated experience managing multiple tax projects and meeting firm deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective interaction with stakeholders including the ability to explain complex tax concepts to non-tax professionals
  • Familiarity with Pillar Two / GloBE framework
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; Oracle, CorpTax, and OneSource experience a plus
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA or MST preferred
