About the role
- design and execute collections each season
- interpret seasonal fashion direction
- lead the creation and execution of seasonal assortments
- develop and execute trim packages
- prepare and present materials for key seasonal milestone meetings
- maintain strong awareness of current trends
- monitor product development timelines and implement solutions
- collaborate with Design and Buying teams to understand financial performance
- effectively communicate updates to leadership
- embrace feedback with professionalism and agility
- build and sustain positive relationships with partners
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in an Associate Designer role
- strong understanding of the Anthropologie target customer
- exceptional sketching ability
- solid working knowledge of garment construction, fabrics and trims
- experience with washed product categories, including denim and PFD
- familiarity and knowledge of structured fabrications
- highly proficient in hand sketching and digital design, including Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Procreate
- technical garment-making skills, including mocking, draping, and sewing.
