About the role
- Report on weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly payroll and hour variances to budget and forecast
- Maintain and update labor model to ensure accurate weekly hours are generated for scheduling
- Assist in updating weekly forecasts for sales and task metrics to accurately predict trends for optimal scheduling
- Leverage WFM Analytics data to provide data for leadership to recommend efficiencies and improve productivity
- Maintain and calculate monthly and quarterly bonuses based on performance on several metrics
- Assist in support of the automated labor scheduling tool
- Assist in the annual budgeting process for store labor
- Ad hoc analysis as needed to support the store leadership and URBN workforce management team
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in a financial role
- retail workforce or payroll management a plus
- Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills required
- Knowledge of financial systems: Hyperion HFM, Essbase, MicroStrategy or similar
- Working knowledge of Financial Modeling and Analysis
- Proven ability to utilize and quickly adapt to new software and reporting systems
- Strong sense of accountability and ownership, proactive problem-solving skills
- Highly organized, motivated, detail oriented, a good sense of urgency, and an ability to prioritize tasks
- Strong ability to clearly present high-level summary of findings and recommendations
