About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Build and lead a coaching and capacity-building department within Urban Strategies.
- Develop and manage a team of coaches to support Latino congregations and faith-based organizations.
- Promote professional development opportunities for staff.
- Foster a culture of learning, reflection, and sharing of best practices within the team.
- Provide organizational development consultation and coaching services to program participants and other Urban Strategies programs.
- Assess, design, implement, and evaluate frameworks, resources, and systems to provide: Administrative support services such as finance, marketing, and IT Organizational development consultation Holistic community and organizational development coaching for faith-based leaders and organizations.
- Coordinate and oversee program operations, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and mission.
- Collaborate with other Urban Strategies programs to provide integrated support to congregations and communities.
- Collect and analyze data to monitor program outcomes and impact.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Master’s degree in organizational leadership or development, business, nonprofit management, or a related field
- Minimum of 8+ years of progressive leadership experience in nonprofit, faith-based, or community development organizations, and 5+ years of organizational coaching, and capacity building.
- Proven experience managing programs, and teams.
- Strong understanding of Hispanic culture, Christian traditions, and holistic community development.
- Excellent strategic planning, communication, system orientation, and partnership-building skills.
- Experience analyzing data and using the theory of change and logic model framework
- Bilingual (Fluent English/Spanish)
- Mission-driven, collaborative, and adaptable to changing needs.
