About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Build and lead a high-performing, globally distributed Integration & Automation Engineering team
Own Oura’s Business Technology Services (BTS) and core integration platform
Own Workato as a delivery surface for enterprise integrations and automations
Define and run the operating model for integrations and automation across IT
Establish and embed reliability practices for mission-critical integration services
Partner with Security, Data, and Finance to ensure integrations are auditable and well-governed
Stay close to the AI Productivity team’s work on agents and MCP-based integration patterns
Act as a visible technical leader and communicator for integration and automation across Oura

Requirements

What you’ll need

12+ years building and operating integration platforms, iPaaS, or API services in modern SaaS environments
5+ years managing engineers (including senior/staff-level ICs) and technical program leaders
3+ years developing digital AI products and AI-augmented integrations
Deep technical experience with modern integration patterns (event-driven, REST/GraphQL, webhooks)
Proven track record operating engineering platform teams
Experience working in or around SOX-relevant systems and ITGC controls
Demonstrated ability to lead engineers across multiple time zones
Genuine curiosity and practical experience with AI-augmented workflows
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
