About the role
- Lead process development, validation, and transfer for consumer electronics products
- Own process documentation suite: assembly flow diagrams and control plans
- Conduct Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) reviews
- Drive yield improvement and defect reduction using DOE, SPC, root cause analysis
- Manage process qualification milestones and factory readiness reviews
- Define process capability requirements and execute capability studies
- Apply lean manufacturing principles to eliminate waste and improve throughput
- Collaborate with quality engineering to establish AQL inspection standards
- Represent manufacturing requirements at NPI stage-gate reviews
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in process engineering
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes
- Experience in consumer electronics manufacturing
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles
- Proficiency in DFM and DFA
