Job Level
About the role
- Lead end-to-end strategy development for new growth vectors — from opportunity identification through business case to execution roadmap
- Evaluate emerging markets, geographies, and customer segments to determine where Oura should play and how to win
- Drive international growth strategy — work with cross-functional teams to build market entry plans, channel strategies and localized go-to-market approaches
- Oversee the development of investment theses and business cases that inform leadership's biggest resource allocation decisions
- Serve as a strategic thought partner to C-suite leaders, framing the questions that matter, structuring key analyses and driving leadership to make decisions
- Create high-quality strategic materials for board discussions, investor conversations, and executive offsites
- Lead cross-functional alignment on the company's highest-priority strategic initiatives — clarifying ownership, surfacing trade-offs, and resolving misalignment quickly
- Partner with Department leadership on annual and quarterly planning, ensuring strategic priorities are reflected in resource allocation and investment decisions
- Shape the analytical frameworks and planning infrastructure that drive enterprise-level prioritization and trade-off decisions
- Identify build, buy, and partner trade-offs for new capabilities required to capture growth opportunities
- Drive adoption of AI-powered workflows across the S&O function — raising the bar on how the team plans, models and delivers strategic insight at speed
Requirements
- 10–12+ years of experience in management consulting (MBB preferred), corporate strategy, investment banking, or growth-stage operating roles
- Proven track record leading (not just contributing to) growth strategies — market entry, geographic expansion, partnerships, or new business model development
- Demonstrated ability to own a strategic agenda end-to-end — from framing the question through mobilizing cross-functional teams to deliver outcomes
- Strong financial modeling and analytical skills; you build conviction through data, not intuition alone
- Executive presence — you hold the room with C-suite leaders and drive alignment without positional authority
- Fluency with the latest AI tools — you've used them to transform how teams work, not just how you work individually
- Experience in health technology, digital health, consumer hardware, or membership businesses (a plus)
Benefits
- Competitive salary and equity packages
- Health, dental, vision insurance, and mental health resources
- An Oura Ring of your own plus employee discounts for friends & family
- 20 days of paid time off plus 13 paid holidays plus 8 days of flexible wellness time off
- Paid sick leave and parental leave
