About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Coordinating and supporting multiple community-led research projects
- Supporting culturally safe engagement with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander organisations, Elders and community members

- Contributing to accessible reports, maps and knowledge products that meet community needs

Requirements
What you’ll need- Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander person due to genuine occupational requirement
- Demonstrated capability through relevant study or equivalent community-based cultural or professional experience
- Strong understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures, histories and community dynamics
- Proven experience supporting project coordination, administration and reporting
- Ability to respectfully gather, interpret and share scientific and cultural data
- Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills
- Confidence using digital tools such as Microsoft Office
- Experience working in community-based settings and managing multiple responsibilities
