About the role

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Account Executives, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and high performance.
  • Own regional revenue targets for the Central Region and consistently achieve or exceed quarterly and annual sales goals.
  • Partner with marketing, sales engineering, and customer success to drive pipeline generation and ensure successful customer outcomes.
  • Build and maintain strong executive-level relationships with enterprise customers and prospects.
  • Forecast accurately, provide regular business updates to senior leadership, and drive data-driven decision-making.
  • Recruit, onboard, and retain top sales talent to scale the regional team.
  • Serve as a cultural ambassador and champion of Upwind Security’s values, representing the company at industry events and regional conferences.
  • Perform field sales duties based in the Central time zone and travel regionally as needed.

Requirements

  • Proven track record of leading high-performing sales teams to exceed quota in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Deep knowledge of enterprise sales motions (strategic prospecting, MEDDIC/MEDDPICC, value-based selling).
  • Maintain accurate forecasting and reporting of the business to leadership and embrace a data-driven approach to SFDC hygiene
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, collaborative, and adaptable to keep up in a very fast-paced, rapidly changing, startup environment
  • Strong understanding of cloud security concepts, technologies, and trends preferred
  • Exceptional leadership, coaching, and communication skills with the ability to inspire teams and influence senior stakeholders.
  • Based in the Central U.S. with the ability to travel regionally as needed
