About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Oversee and participate in initial customer discovery meetings
Provide platform demos and highly technical proof-of-value engagements for existing customers and new sales opportunities using predictive maintenance software
Act as a subject matter expert for predictive analytics, operations and maintenance, chemical engineering, and asset performance management
Translate customer business challenges into technical solutions and position UptimeAI’s offering
Address customer needs through verbal, written, and presentation skills
Conduct requirements gathering and gap analysis
Support solution design, architecture review, and functional and technical requirements discovery, definition, and documentation
Implement complete solutions by combining process-domain knowledge with technical knowledge of UptimeAI software
Build, manage, and maintain relationships with customers, peers, and partners
Travel 40–60% to engage with customers and prospects in person
Participate in marketing campaigns and events

Requirements

What you’ll need

8+ years of experience
Bachelor's degree or higher in chemical engineering or an equivalent discipline is required
Prior experience with predictive analytics tools and offerings, including artificial intelligence applications or digital solutions such as APM and simulation
Ability to build a business case and convince upper management on value
Prior operations and maintenance experience in a process industry such as oil and gas or chemicals is required
Strong operational knowledge of process-side operations and maintenance, including reactors and process understanding, is required
General experience with industrial automation and manufacturing, including industrial data sources, systems, and communication methods such as SCADA, OPC, historians, and DCS
Experience with CMMS systems, Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM), or maintenance work in a manufacturing or industrial environment is required
Desire to work in a people-facing role spanning technical and sales activities
