Key responsibilities & impact

Design and facilitate six live online workshops for students preparing for TEAS and/or HESI exams.
Deliver engaging instruction covering key exam subjects, including: Reading comprehension, Mathematics, Science (biology, anatomy & physiology, chemistry), Grammar and language usage, Test-taking strategies.
Create an interactive virtual learning experience using polls, multiple choice questions, chat, breakout activities, and guided practice.
Adapt instruction to meet varying student skill levels.
Provide students with actionable study strategies and exam preparation techniques.
Share supplemental practice resources or study recommendations as appropriate.
Collaborate with program staff on workshop scheduling, curriculum alignment, and student engagement goals.
Track attendance and provide brief post-session summaries when requested.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in education, nursing, health sciences, or a related field with a minimum GPA of 3.5.
3+ years of prior teaching, tutoring, or workshop facilitation experience for TEAS and/or HESI preparation.
Demonstrated expertise in nursing school entrance exams.
Experience teaching in a remote environment using Zoom.
Strong presentation and group facilitation skills.
Ability to explain complex concepts clearly to adult and college-level learners.
Reliable internet connection and professional remote setup.
