About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Build and evolve the web front end and platform in TypeScript, React, and Vite within a pnpm workspaces + Turborepo monorepo
Maintain workspace dependencies, task pipelines, build caching, and Git practices
Build and maintain the Python backend using FastAPI, NumPy, and SciPy
Develop the PostgreSQL data layer and write clean, performant SQL
Deploy and operate on-premise/self-hosted environments and Microsoft Azure
Implement identity, access management, API security, TLS, and secrets management
Build and consume MCP servers, agent skills, and AI-native development tooling
Read, fork, and extend unfamiliar open-source codebases and automate workflows
Expose platform APIs and data flows, including geometry format import and export
Build and extend the node-graph layer, including the node editor, execution engine, and node I/O contracts

Requirements

What you’ll need

6+ years of experience working in software engineering environments
Strong front-end and platform experience with TypeScript, React, and Vite
Proven experience with pnpm workspaces and Turborepo monorepos
Solid Node.js tooling and Git practices
Advanced PostgreSQL and SQL knowledge
Proficiency with Python, FastAPI, NumPy, and SciPy
Deep experience with Linux, Docker, reverse proxies, and network segmentation
Hands-on Microsoft Azure experience with App Service, AKS or Container Apps, Azure Database for PostgreSQL, Key Vault, and VNet
Experience with Microsoft Entra ID, OAuth2/OIDC, JWT, session management, and RBAC
Knowledge of API security, TLS, and secrets management
Experience designing and exposing clean APIs and data flows
Hands-on experience building and consuming MCP servers, agent skills, and tooling
Fluency with Anthropic API, Claude Code, Cursor, and/or Replit
Comfort reading, forking, and extending unfamiliar open-source codebases
Preferred experience with node-graph and dataflow engineering
Preferred experience with DAG execution engines and node-based/dataflow tools
Strong ownership, self-direction, adaptability, communication, collaboration, and AI-native working style
