Infrastructure Engineer

• Define and track key platform health and cost metrics, such as availability, latency, error budgets, infrastructure cost per transaction, and change failure rates, using these insights to guide prioritization and continuous improvement.
• Partner closely with Security, Data Platform, and Product Engineering teams to ensure infrastructure decisions enable reliable experimentation, user-centric product development, and scalable data and ML systems.
• Oversee large-scale programs that span multiple teams, such as cloud modernization, multi-region or cell-based architecture, and foundational security or resilience upgrades.
• Represent Infrastructure in cross-functional planning and technical forums, translating platform risks and opportunities into clear business tradeoffs and decisions.

Manager, Infrastructure Engineering

• Own and steward the R&D Operating Blueprint — keep it current as the organization evolves, run periodic health checks, and make redesign calls when something isn't working
• Lead operating rhythm work: forum design, cadence changes, redesigns, and post-mortems — the ongoing drumbeat of keeping the operating model healthy
• Serve as the internal expert on AI-native process design — the go-to voice for "how do we build this as a system, not a document"

• Own the end-to-end optimization and health of Upside’s marketplace operations. From retailer data pipelines through Upside’s marketplace systems.
• Identify opportunities to drive overall growth and accelerate strategic initiatives through optimization and tuning of Upside’s marketplace
• Execute, deliver and report on strategies to accelerate growth and drive strategic initiatives
• Define and deliver a continuous improvement roadmap to CPO-level leadership, surfacing trends, patterns, and systemic risks before they impact merchants or consumers

Staff Data Engineer

Analytics Engineer

• Design and build complex, scalable data products that support internal analytics and power product features, using tools like dbt, Snowflake, and Dagster.
• Translate ambiguous business needs into structured, trustworthy data assets—owning development end-to-end, from design through deployment and monitoring.
• Contribute to shared platform tooling that improves pipeline orchestration, testing, access control, and observability for both engineers and analysts.
• Evaluate and implement new platform capabilities, such as Semantic Views, Cortex, or SnowML, to improve performance, maintainability, and user experience.
• Support and enable teammates across the org, including onboarding new users, resolving data issues, and documenting patterns and best practices.
