About the role

  • Design, develop and maintain reliable, automated data pipelines (ingestion, transformation, exposure)
  • Contribute to the productionization of existing pipelines (robustness, monitoring, error handling)
  • Participate in improving data quality (controls, validation rules, traceability)
  • Document data flows, data models and associated best practices
  • Support the operation and evolution of the Snowflake platform: structuring environments (DEV / UAT / PROD), managing roles, permissions and access, and contributing to security and governance best practices
  • Implement automations to simplify recurring administration and operational tasks
  • Assist in preparing optimization initiatives (performance, costs, usage)
  • Work collaboratively with data, IT and business teams
  • Contribute to the documentation, standards and user guides for the data platform
  • Keep up to date with technological developments and best practices in Data Engineering, Snowflake and the cloud data ecosystem

Requirements

  • Master’s degree (Bac+5) from an engineering school in Computer Science or a Master’s in Data Engineering / Computer Science / Information Systems (or equivalent)
  • Strong foundations in SQL and data modeling
  • Knowledge of Data Engineering concepts (ETL/ELT, pipelines, and basic data quality and governance concepts)
  • Interest in cloud data environments (Snowflake or equivalent)
  • Awareness of security, access management and governance issues
  • Technical curiosity and eagerness to learn
  • Analytical mindset and problem-solving skills
  • Autonomy, rigor and initiative
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
